School Project: Whitfield Giants

Whitefield Giants was a large-scale residency project made in partnership with Dundee Rep Theatre, Dundee Council and three local authority primary schools to create a one-off celebratory performance with handcrafted giant puppets.

This project saw each of Tortoise in a Nutshell’s resident artists embed themselves in a local school, working with students over a number of weeks to develop and produce giant parade puppets. The project reached hundreds of school children and local community members.
